On 29th November 2012 at the University of Pisa - Degree Course for Sciences for Peace - ´Centro Studi per la Pace´ President Cristina Broseghini from Demonte (CN) discussed her thesis entitled "Don Aldo Benevelli Man of Peace", which sums up the life and activities of the priest born in Monforte d´Alba, Cuneo. Don Aldo is "known as the heroic priest of the Resistance . . . . . . for many years the point of reference for those actively seeking water in deepest Africa . . . for those in Cuneo who want to talk about books ... " ( I.Man).
