Our first mission to Guinea Bissau was successfully completed on January 29, 2014. In collaboration with realities already working in Guinea Bissau - the cooperative "Madrugada", the Association "Ceù e Terras", the non-profit Association "Kibinti Onlus", the NGO "Amigos da Guinè Bissau Ong", and the Association "Dos Apicultores do Leste" - training courses were organized for the preparation of a food paste with high energy and nutritional value, which has already proved to be extremely useful in treating child malnutrition and anaemia in pregnant women. The food paste was given to a certain number of children and women chosen by the local operators, and, after two months of treatment, the results obtained were extraordinary. Adriano Peano, Zeno Broseghini and Michele Maddaloni - volunteers of CSPace Onlus of Demonte - formed the first group of trainers, and they were also interviewed on National Television "Radio Televisão da Guiné-Bissau". For CSPace Onlus this is just the beginning of an International collaboration aimed at on-site training for a sustainable future.
