The non-profit organisation “Centro Studi per la Pace” was created thanks to its five founders who, through concrete actions, have wanted to express the concept of “humanitarian competition” expressed by Tsunesaburo Makiguchi (1871 – 1944), founder president of Soka Gakkai, who said: “The important thing to do is to put aside selfish motives and to make every effort possible to protect and improve not only one’s own life but also the life of everybody else. We should act for the good of others because by doing so we also act for our own good”.
